History of Digital Fortress
Digital Fortress was formed in early 2012 through the combination of two successful Seattle based data centers – Digital Forest and Fortress Colocation Centers. Immediately after the completion of the merger, Digital Fortress invested an additional $2.5 million in the acquisition and upgrading of an existing 18,000 sq ft data center facility in downtown Seattle.
As of today the company currently manages 63,000 square feet of space and a diverse-network designed to support a mix of private, public and managed infrastructure with scaling capacity to maintain data speed and access for hybrid IT organizations. Leveraging our network backbone and 24/7 technical staff, Digital Fortress is strategically positioned in the technology-centric Seattle market to reshape solutions to fit a diversifying set of customer needs.
